Technical Solutions to Social Issues

All our meetings are in -person AND online
(Typically) We meet every Tuesday night at 700 pm at The Gathering Place (non profit resource center) 241 Canada Street (the Ville) pizza included. Non-profit organizations attend and pitch projects to the Civic Tech volunteers who then decide if they want to work on the projects. Everything we develop is free, open source and shared with Civic Techs across Canada.

We have a great time while making Fredericton a better place! Join us!

Civic Tech Fredericton serves as the connective tissue between citizens, non-profit organizations, government innovators and the tech community. We facilitate knowledge sharing and work collaboratively to build digital tools or simply provide technical advice to our non-profit sector.  Check out a list of our projects.

The national civic tech movement is supported by Code For Canada, which serves as a platform and resource hub for civic tech organizers across the country. Civic Tech communities across North America unites policymakers, technologists, designers, public servants and engaged residents together to learn from one another and make their communities better places to live.

If you want to work with like-minded people on interesting and impactful projects, we'd love to have you on our team. Please contact CivicTechFredericton@gmail.com
